Repurpose | Live at the Creamery

From cellist and composer Matt Magerkurth comes Repurpose, a set of recorded video performances of music from the album Amends. Filmed at a gutted creamery in Rogers, Arkansas, each of its four pieces explores a different area of the building. In lieu of the electronic processing present in the album, this iteration of these pieces relies instead on the ambient noises of the old concrete structure and its surroundings. In this regard, both the music and the space are in a place beyond their original purpose, but, for a day, they connected in order to make a new one.
